The Lost Forest
The Lost Forest region consists of 4 islands. There are 8 clans that call the Lost Forest their home. What makes this region so unique is that the trees move changing the forest daily.
Clan Names
Ironstump - Northern Island
Juniperbeard - Northern Island
Thistleleaf - Northern Island
Yewscar - Middle Island
Weepingspruce - Middle Island
Oakenflesh - Southern Island
Scrubtree - Southern Island
Aldercrown - Southern Island
Each Clan is named for the Ent they protect. It is the Ents that cause the trees to shift. While the clans are separate entities they typically do not war with each other.
Jeweled Glade
This Glade contains trees with very unique properties. The leaves of these trees are pink and are more like gems than leaves. They are the same shape and thickness as leaves but are hard and brittle. When the wind blows they clink together and make gorgeous wind chime sounds. The glade contains 25 of these trees.
Griffon’s Perch
Jutting up from the earth are very large stone cliffs. These are the home of Griffons. This area has been protected by the Thistleleaf Clan for as long as anyone can remember. They raise the griffons to be friendly towards humanoids and communicate with them. Most Griffon Mounts in Arcadia come from Griffon’s Perch.
Permanence
Permanence is the only standard city in the Lost Forest region. Since the Island is small there is very little room for the trees to move, Druids helped to coax the trees in the city region to circle the small area instead of freely roam. Almost all of the buildings are built within the trees themselves with partial bridges extending out. People here are very adept at climbing and enjoy having new neighbors as the trees slowly circle the city boundaries.
